Academic Resources
Academic Advising
The Office of Academic Advising can provide assistance to any student who needs assistance in registering for classes or is considering a change in major.
Faculty/Staff Advisors
Faculty and staff within your major are excellent resources for students planning to stay within their major. Students can locate their faculty/staff advisor’s contact information by logging in to their MyUNIverse account and going to their Student Center.
Student Success and Retention
Student success is the top priority of our office and the central goal of our UNI strategic plan. Through early intervention, peer mentoring, and success coaching, we work to make sure all UNI students have the support and resources to achieve their goals.
Peer Advisors
Peer Advisors work with students to:
- Explore majors, minors, and career options
- Understand the Liberal Arts Core and make appropriate course selections
- Understand how to use the registration system and tools within Student Center
- Understand academic deadlines and policies
The Learning Center
The Learning Center @ Rod Library (TLC), located on the main floor of Rod Library, is staffed by nationally certified peer educators trained to assist students develop the academic skills necessary to be successful in college and beyond.
Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar can assist you with the Academic Standing Policy, enrollment/degree verification, transcript requests, adding or dropping classes, withdrawing from the University, graduation and commencement, military and veterans education benefits, and much more!
Health, Wellness, and Safety
