Helpful Tips

  • We recommend that students bookmark all the required modules and articles so they can easily see which ones they need to complete. To bookmark an item, simply click on the icon on the upper right corner of it, and this will bookmark it. If a student wants to see only their bookmarked items, they can navigate to the “my activity” tab on the top of the page and select the “bookmarks and budgets” option.
  • Students should ensure that an entire module is completed from start to finish. All modules are finished after completing the “end of course survey”. If a module is not completed all the way through, it could result in a student believing they are finished, even though they are not. Articles are completed by opening it and reading the material.
  • When a student successfully completes a module, they should see a green checkmark on the top left of the module. If it is not completed, there will be a yellow in progress checkmark. Modules not yet started will have no checkmark until it has been started.
  • CashCourse is not administered or directly managed by UNI’s office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. For any technical assistance (password resets, bugs, or website issues) we ask that you use the “support” tab in the upper right-hand corner of the website to get assistance with any website related issues. You must be logged in to see the support tab.
  • For any financial literacy related questions, please direct those to our office. The financial literacy team’s email address is financial-literacy@uni.edu. Alternatively, you could contact the main financial aid email address fin-aid@uni.edu or give us a call at (319)-273-2700.
