Things to know
All costs are electronically billed directly to you. This includes tuition, all mandatory fees, contracted campus room and meal plan expenses, and any other University costs.
Full-time students can register for 12 to 18 credit hours per semester. The cost is a flat rate for 12+ credit hours and does not increase with additional credits.
The costs above are for a full academic year (fall and spring semesters).
Direct Costs
Tuition & Fees
The amount listed for Tuition & Fees is based on full-time enrollment. Please refer to our Tuition & Fees page for more information, including a detailed listing of Tuition & Fees per credit hour.

Room & Board
Room & Board is an allowance for the cost of housing and food, whether living on- or off-campus.
If living on-campus, your Room & Board charges will be billed through the University. To check the costs of on-campus housing and meal plans, please refer to the Housing & Dining website.
If living off-campus, your housing costs will not be billed through the University (unless you purchase an on-campus meal plan), but you may use financial aid to help cover off-campus housing and food costs.
Your actual housing and foods costs may vary.

Indirect Costs
Books & Supplies
This is an estimated allowance for the cost of books and other course-related expenses.
Your books will not be billed directly through the University unless you purchase them at the UNI Bookstore and charge them to your U-bill.

Transportation
- This is an estimated allowance for the cost of traveling between home and campus.

Personal Expenses
This is an allowance for items such as clothing, personal needs, entertainment, communication devices, etc.
Personal expenses vary from student to student.
