Get connected to UNI before you transfer.
The Transfer Connection program is a coordinated plan between UNI and community colleges. It helps students like you seamlessly transition from community college to UNI. We encourage you to be part of the program as early as possible in your college career. Once enrolled in the Transfer Connection program, you’ll receive guidance on course selection, degree progress and your other academic goals.
- What is the Transfer Connection Program?
The Transfer Connection Program allows you to receive support from UNI well before you are a student here. As a participant of the program, you’ll receive one-on-one pre-advising from the UNI Transfer Team, assisting you with:
- choosing a major
- selecting courses at your current college
- staying on track to transfer
- Why participate?
At its root, the program is designed to save you time and money and make the goal of graduating with a UNI degree easier.

- To be a part of the program, complete the sign up form found on this page.
- Upon completion of the form, you'll receive an email from us to schedule a virtual one-on-one pre-advising meeting.
- After the initial meeting, the UNI Transfer Team will connect with you each semester while at your community college.
