We're here to help you help your students.
As a community college advisor or educator, you work firsthand with students in helping them succeed. If a student of yours has plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa, we want to assist wherever and however we can to make the transition a smooth one for them – and you. We hope you find this hub of information below, covering credit equivalencies, scholarships, deadlines and so much more, valuable. And, as always, our team of transfer admissions counselors are only an email (transfer@uni.edu), phone call or virtual appointment away.
Scholarships
Transfer students are automatically considered for admission-based scholarships upon admission to UNI. They can apply for other additional scholarships (requirements and deadlines vary by scholarship).
Visits
Students can experience campus through Daily Visits and Panther Visit Days. Our Transfer Student Visit Day, exclusively for transfer students, is held twice a year.
Application
The application does not require an official transcript and students can upload their unofficial transcripts directly into the application. Final official transcripts from all schools attended are required prior to enrollment.
