Roy J. Carver Scholarship

The Roy J. Carver Scholarship is awarded every year to approximately twenty selected UNI students who have pursued their educational goals despite difficult circumstances or obstacles. The scholarship pays $6,000 per year for up to two years of study, provided the student continues to meet all requirements at the University of Northern Iowa. The application opens October 1 each year for the upcoming school year.

Scholarships are awarded to those who best exemplify the industriousness shown by Roy J. Carver, who pulled himself up by his bootstraps to pursue and achieve the American Dream. Check out the official brochure to learn more.
