The master of science program in applied engineering provides candidates with a core of courses and graduate research in technology, engineering technology, appropriate supervisory or organizational aspects, technical, research basics and educational leadership.

- Minimum undergraduate grade point average of a 2.75 on a 4.0 point scale (candidates for this major requires a baccalaureate degree with a major in technology, engineering technology, technology education, engineering or related technical field)
