The master's program offers a challenging educational experience to help you meet your professional and scholarly goals. The educational philosophy of the Department of Communication & Media combines theoretical understanding with practical application of course content and assignments. Our faculty are nationally and internationally known and are strong scholars and teachers. All students pursuing graduate degrees within the Department of Communication & Media are required to write a thesis or research paper. The department requires a scholarly paper from all potential graduate students and a personal essay that describes the applicant's career and personal objectives and goals. The student should submit the paper at the time she/he applies for admission.
