Incoming students can apply for scholarships after applying for admission to UNI. Priority will be given to applications submitted on or before January 15.
How to Hit the Bullseye in Your Search for Scholarships
All students should begin by searching for scholarships in their hometown or community. High School guidance counselors are a great place to start exploring all of resources available to you in your community.
Next, begin pursuing scholarships at the colleges or universities that you're still considering. UNI offers some scholarships as early as you're admitted, as well as allowing all students to complete the UNI Scholarship Application. This online application allows students to apply for hundreds of scholarships in one convenient location.
Other scholarship options include regional or national scholarship searches. Make sure most of your time and energy is spent pursuing scholarship from your hometown and colleges you're planning to attend.
