Summer Financial Aid

If you are taking classes this summer, you may be eligible for financial aid. Summer financial aid options will be added to your financial aid offer on your Student Center after you enroll in summer classes. 

• We will start adding summer financial aid in Mid April. You must be enrolled in summer classes before your offer will be updated.
• Most financial aid in the summer requires at least half-time enrollment (6 credits for undergraduates/5 credits for graduate students).
• Accepted summer financial aid is scheduled to apply to your U-bill the week prior to your first summer class.
• If you are taking classes at another school, you can use those credits toward your enrollment status at UNI in order to be eligible for financial aid, but you must complete a consortium agreement.
