Must have a degree equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized and accredited institution for our Master’s degree programs.

• Degrees equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree:

Must have a degree equivalent to a U.S. Master’s degree from a recognized and accredited institution for our Doctoral degree programs.

• Degrees equivalent to a U.S. Master’s degree:
  • Minimum of 2 years of graduate studies:
    • Magister/Maesteria en… (Master’s in…)
    • Magister Scientiae or Scientarium (Master of Science)
    • Maesteria en Administracion (Master in Business Administration)
• Degrees equivalent to a U.S. Doctoral degree:
  • Minimum of 2 years of graduate studies beyond a Licenciado (Licentiate), Ingeniero (Engineer), Profesor (Teacher), or Master’s degree and defense of a dissertation:
    • Doctor en… (Doctor in…)
    • Doctorado en… (Doctorate in…)

**Other degrees may also be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree. Minimum Academic Standard:

• Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0

** Students below a 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission

English Language Proficiency Required For Non-Native Speakers:

• TOEFL: Minimum of 79 (iBT) or Minimum of 550 (PBT) - Does not include TOEFL Best Score
• IELTS: Minimum 6.5
• Specific programs have higher TOEFL/IELTS minimums. Please see https://intladm.uni.edu/graduate-majors to determine what your required minimum TOEFL/IELTS score is.

** Students with a minimum TOEFL of 46 (iBT) or minimum IELTS of 5.5 may be considered for conditional admission.
