Visitor Information
We are excited to have you visit UNI’s campus. Here is some basic information to help you during your stay.
Parking

Daily Visits
If you are visiting during the week for a daily visit, please plan to park in the spots outside the Admissions Welcome Center (2601 Campus Street, Cedar Falls) and follow the flags!
You should have received a parking pass in your email confirmation. If you have left your pass behind, stop in at the front desk of the Admissions Welcome Center.

Panther Visit Days
If you are visiting for a Panther Visit Day or other large group visit event, please park in the Applied Engineering Lot (2900 Campus Street, Cedar Falls). Watch for signs to guide you to the Maucker Union. No parking pass is needed.
Walking and Attire
UNI offers walking tours and throughout the day you may be walking in between buildings. We recommend comfortable walking shoes and appropriate outdoor attire for the season.
Hotels
Please visit Cedar Falls Tourism and Waterloo Tourism for information about hotels, accommodations and other fun things to do in the area.
Inclement Weather
While it’s always 72 degrees inside UNI’s Dome, Iowa weather likes to keep things interesting. We will email and text you if weather conditions prohibit visits to campus. Cancellation information is also posted on UNI’s website. Please use your own discretion, we are always happy to reschedule visits if weather conditions do not allow a safe journey to campus.
