PTK Scholarship Application

UNI offers scholarships for Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) International Honor Society members. These scholarships have limited funding with priority given to students who submit this application form prior to April 1 (for fall entry) or November 1 (for spring entry).

To be eligible for a PTK Scholarship, you must:

• Be a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
• Be admitted as a new transfer student* to the University of Northern Iowa 
• Have earned 30+ transferable credits (after high-school graduation) at the time of application
• Have maintained a 3.25 cumulative transfer grade point average
• Submit your form prior to enrollment 

Notes:

• A limited number of awards are available and not all admitted, eligible PTK members can be awarded this scholarship. This includes PTK All-Iowa, All-USA, and Coca-Cola recipients. 
• PTK All-Iowa, All-USA, and Coca-Cola recipients must inform transfer@uni.edu of the award prior to the April 1 priority deadline.
• No PTK Scholarships will be awarded after the start of the semester.

*PTK scholarships are not awarded to incoming high-school students, former students returning to UNI, students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree, or students completing their degree through one of UNI’s Online & Distance Education programs.
