The application process is easy. You can apply easily through UNI's application system below or use the Common Application (undergraduate only).
Both require an electronic payment of the $40 application fee. A fee waiver is available for those who qualify.
New User
For users who do not have a CatID.
- Create a valid UNI account (CatID) with your personal information
- Login with your new CatID
- Complete the Application for Admission
Returning User
You have previously applied to the University of Northern Iowa or you already have a CatID.
You'll be asked to log in on the next screen, and then will be able to view what you previously entered and continue your application.
